PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD!
Let other’s know about your experiences and successes with us.
We are able to keep our prices low in part because of the extraordinary amount of marketing that our patients do on our behalf.  We are grateful for this.

We are a community based business and do not receive any grants or funding from sources other than our patients.  We need your help to get the word out about the benefits and affordability of acupuncture.

Phinney Ridge Community Acupuncture appreciates diversity and does not discriminate based on race, age, religion, ability, marital status, HIV status, national origin, sexual orientation, sex, or gender identity.

Phinney Ridge Community Acupuncture is a community clinic designed to bring high-quality, affordable, and effective acupuncture to the heart of North Seattle; serving the neighborhoods of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Green Lake, Ballard, Crown Hill, Fremont and more. Treatments are on a sliding scale of $20 – $40 per treatment, plus a one time $10 intake fee the first visit. No proof of income is required; you decide what you can afford.  Payment is cash or check only.

The affordable rates are possible because, rather than treating in private rooms, we treat people in a shared space.  Each person gets an individualized treatment customized to their needs. The atmosphere in Phinney Ridge Community Acupuncture is quiet and meditative, with many falling asleep once their needles are in.  Community style acupuncture, where multiple treatments take place in one shared space, has long been the standard in Asia, and has become popular in the U.S. over the past decade. Patients appreciate the option of scheduling treatments together with their spouse, family, and friends. The sliding scale enables patients to come regularly enough to get better and stay better.

How It Works
After a brief intake, patients sit in comfortable zero-gravity chairs or ‘Easy Boy’ style recliners, remove their socks and shoes, roll up their sleeves to the elbows, pants to the knees, and relax. The acupuncturist selects points, usually on the arms, legs and ears. The needles are sterile, disposable, and used only once. For many, the relief is immediate. The patient then relaxes back in their chair from 40 minutes to an hour, after which the needles are removed.  Patients usually come frequently at first, two or three times a week, to establish a strong foundation.  Treatments can then be spread out.
